An air cylinder (smaller of the two) drives a water cylinder to fill a calibrated test cell.  The digital control unit measures the cylinder travel with a 16 bit A/D and returns the difference between the cell empty and the cell containing the volume to measure.  A Windows GUI controls, via the control unit, the cylinder fill and empty functions and displays the test results.  Test time is less than 3 minutes and in the final version will be fully automatic with an accuracy better than +/- 0.5cc for a 100cc volume with a final target of +/- 0.1cc.
